 Agenda was posted  January 4, 2008 at  10:10 AM on  east  entrance door.

 

 The Delaware County Excise Board met in Regular session on January 8, 2008 at 8:30 A.M. with the following members present: Member-Don Youngblood, Member-Art Shackelford, and Chairwoman Jacqueline Wright.  Chairwoman Jacqueline Wright called the Meeting to order and the following business was transacted.

 

Motion was made by Art Shackelford and seconded by Don Youngblood to approve the Agenda as posted dated January 8, 2008.  All voted aye.  Motion carried.

 

Motion was made by Art Shackelford and seconded by Don Youngblood to approve the minutes of regular meeting dated December 4, 2007.   All voted aye.  Motion carried.

 

*Motion was made by Art Shackelford and seconded by Don Youngblood that the Excise Board of Delaware County approve CASH FUND ESTIMATE OF NEEDS and REQUEST FOR APPROPRIATIONS FOR COUNTY.  All voted aye. Motion carried.

appropriations.  None were received.  All voted aye. Motion carried.

 

A motion was made by Art Shackelford and seconded by Don Youngblood to approve of the County Holiday Schedule for 2008 as follows: January 21, 2008-ML. King Day; February 18, 2008-President’s Day; March 21, 2008-Good Friday; May 26, 2008-Memorial Day; July 4, 2008-Indendence Day; September 1, 2008-Labor Day; October 13, 2008-Columbus Day; November 11, 2008-Veteran’s Day; November 25 & 26, 2008-Thanksgiving Day Holidays; December 25 & 26, 2008-Christmas Holidays;  January 1, 2009-New Year’s Day.  All voted aye. Motion carried.
