DELAWARE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING

November 20, 2009

The Board of County Commissioners of Delaware County, Oklahoma, met in Special Session in the County Commissioner’s meeting room in Delaware Co. Court House at 11:00 AM on November 20, 2009 at  11:00 A.M and recessed at 2:05 P.M.   Agenda was posted November 18, 2009 at  11:00 A.M. on east entrance door and the south west entrance.  This meeting is scheduled to reconvene on Monday, November 23, 2009 after the regular Commissioner’s meeting.

 

Members of the Board present were Chairman-Billy Cornell, Commissioner  Dave Kendrick-Member and Commissioner Ken Crowder –Member.  Secretary, Carol Fortner was not present.   The Board of Delaware County Commissioners are hereby authorized to take action on the following items:

 

AGENDA #1-A motion was made by Commissioner Kendrick and seconded by Commissioner Cornell to approve of the agenda as posted.   Roll call: Commissioner Cornell -yes, Commissioner Kendrick-yes, Commissioner Crowder-yes. Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #2-A motion was made by Commissioner Kendrick and seconded by Commissioner Cornell to meet with Tim McCrary of Rose & McCrary to discuss/approve of Amended Five Year Road/Bridge Plan.   Roll call: Commissioner Cornell -yes, Commissioner Kendrick-yes, Commissioner-Crowder-yes. Motion carried.

 

AGENDA #3-A motion was made by Commissioner Kendrick and seconded by Commissioner Crowder to adjourn the meeting.  Meeting adjourned at 2:05 P.M. Board elected to re-convene on 12/23/09 after the regular Commissioner’s meeting to make final decisions.

Special Commissioner’s Meeting re-convened on 11/23/09 at 11:30 AM.  A motion was made by Commissioner Cornell and seconded by Commissioner Kendrick to pull Bridge projects #54 and #33 from the 5 year plan in order to keep force account projects for 2010-2011-2012.  Amended Five Year Road/Bridge Plan was approved.  Roll Call:  Commissioner Cornell-yes, Commissioner Kendrick-yes, Commissioner Crowder-yes.  Motion carried.
